This project is an exploration of speculating the future event which could potentially happen, featuring one of American controversial topic; Net Neutrality. Net Neutrality is a law and principle that Internet service provider handle all data on the Internet equally, ISP can’t charge differently by user, content, website, platform, application and so on. What’s controversial is that the ISP alongside FCC (Federal Communication Commission) who govern the internet is trying to repeal net neutrality using underhanded and condescending method all in order to gain more profits and more control over the internet, which could kill creativity, innovation and small businesses.

 I used bright colours and satire approach to disclose the information about net neutrality’s situation if it were to be repealed.

Compared to the previous designs, I have created protest posters instead, it is more direct, its hold more rebellious emotions due to the placement and style of my paint brush typography. The message is more consistent, understanding and more intriguing as people have to understand net neutrality before they understand the satire jests. I made it as a protest poster is because protest also sparks controversy, which will lead attentions and people will attempt to understand why it’s controversial.
